Though we love to be on the road and are in a season of pretty intense travel and exploration, Jordan and I are both homebodies at heart. For us, adventures are really only fun when they are tempered with enough time at home to work on projects, cook good meals, and–most importantly–hunker down with a great book and a large pottery mug full of fresh coffee.

I have a more in-depth house tour planned for the blog, but for now, here is a glimpse into a few of our nooks that we’ve created and my ongoing project of designing our California home. It’s our Mission Control, my office, Jordan’s office, our personal party venue, and Sam’s live/work/play space. 

There’s always more to do (like straightening that poor hall mirror that we hung incorrectly, with many anchors), but it feels like home, and the coffee and the company are good.
